| THESE SERVICES ARE OFFERED AT NO CHARGE: MEAL PROGRAM - (4:00 PM to 5:30 PM) ECHO provides a hot nutritious evening meal to an average of 150 homeless, elderly, parents with children and single men & women. FOOT CLINIC ECHO offers on-site foot care by trained nurses and a doctor. New shoes and socks are also provided. PERSONAL CARE ITEMS ECHO provides items such as shampoo, razors, toothpaste, lip balm, toothbrushes, deodorant, shavin cream, etc. to guests on a regular basis. THANKSGIVING FOOD BASKETS ECHO provides baskets of everyt thing needed for a Thanksgiving meal along with extra staple items to our guests. ADOPT-A-FAMILY FOR CHRISTMAS ECHO recruits churches, businesses, families, and community groups to "adpot" one of our families, and help them to have a wonderful holiday by purchasing gifts for everyone. This can also include food. SPECIAL ITEMS ECHO collects and distributes items such as school supplies, blankets, fans and towels throughou the year. HUGS ECHO keeps on hand Hats, Underwear, Gloves and Socks to distribute when needed. REFERRAL SERVICE ECHO will help guests find the services they need though networking with other agencies in our community. |
